The state of Mississippi has twenty-four state parks for residents and visitors to enjoy. Each one is lovely in its own way.

Each and every one of them has a lake, river, or other body of water so visitors can enjoy boating and fishing, and hiking trails for people who enjoy exploring the natural world on foot.

Almost all of Mississippi’s state parks offer campgrounds. They encourage people to spend the night in the great outdoors. For those who do not enjoy tent or recreational vehicle camping, most parks offer cabins and lodges as indoor accommodations options.

These six lodging options are lovely. After reading this post, you’ll likely want to book all of them in the near future!

There’s nothing quite like a getaway out into nature. Mississippi has so much to offer when it comes to the great outdoors.
