Train rides have long been an exciting way to travel, but they are also not as popular a way to get around as they once were. However, in Massachusetts, we are so lucky to have a few options for taking a train ride throughout the state. Whether it’s the Cape Cod Central Railroad or the Berkshire Scenic Railway, there are certainly some incredible choices for us to take a scenic train ride in Massachusetts. One that’s perfect for the whole family, however, is located on the grounds of the EcoTarium in Worcester. Best of all, it’s a scenic, open-air train ride! Let’s have a look:

The EcoTarium in Worcester is a museum where visitors can learn about science and nature. While there is a large indoor space with interactive exhibits, your learning experience continues outside.

Outdoors, families are encouraged to immerse themselves in nature by taking a hike through the forest and meadow and just play. There are also numerous animals to see on the museum grounds.

Another way to view the property is to take a scenic train ride on an open-air train. The museum is set on 45 acres so there is plenty to see along the ride.
