For hikers, the Kisatchie National Forest is a playground full of primitive trails, challenging terrain, and incredible views. There’s one trail in particular that leads to one of the most impressive views in the entire state, and it’ll make you think you’re on top of the world!

When you’re ready to experience some of the most raw and beautiful landscape Louisiana has to offer, the Longleaf Vista Nature Trail is just the ticket.

It’s a 1.5-mile loop trail that’s great for both beginners and experienced hikers.

You’ll be traversing through some semi-steep terrain and there are steps to climb along the way, but it’s nothing too strenuous.
