Hidden on the lush land of the South Kingstown Land Trust is an unexpected yet utterly magical fairy trail in Rhode Island. It’s not actually billed as a fairy trail, and you might just stroll past the tiny, adorable fairy houses along the way, if you didn’t know they’re there. Now you do, though, and you’re in for a magical adventure. How many fairy houses will you stumble across on your leisurely journey?
Meandering 7.6 miles through the South Kingstown Land Trust, the DuVal Trail promises a whole lot of natural beauty. However, expect a bit of a challege as it’s considered moderate.

Watch your step as you climb up natural stairs. While you’ll be shaded by the canopy of trees along much of the path, you’ll still want to lather on the sunscreen. (Bring some with you, too.)

However, you also want to pay attention to where you walk, because you’ll be delighted by the whimsical surprises along the way. A painted lady bug, for example, sit on a mossy rock.
