Stony Man Family Friendly Trail In Virginia

Tucked away along the famous Appalachian Trail is a very doable loop that promises stunning mountain views. It’s not too long and not too short, so you can rest assured that all ages will be entertained.

On a clear day, there are few views in Virginia as spectacular as the one you’ll find at the end of the Stony Man Loop.

This 1.5-mile trail is located in Shenandoah National Park and follows a portion of the iconic Appalachian Trail.
