The dining area is decorated from floor to ceiling with oil and gas memorabilia and there’s a giant Spudder outside that’s the showpiece of the exterior. Outside, you’ll instantly notice the giant Spudder that was made in the 1920s. A Spudder was a cable tool rig made for drilling shallow wells back in the day.

The place was originally opened by the son of oil tycoon Frank Phillips and changed ownership in 2011. All the oil and gas memorabilia still remains today and offers a fun and quirky atmosphere.

The Spudder is known for its juicy steaks that are hand-cut every day. They cook them on a real old-fashioned charcoal fire so the flavor is divine.
