Walker Island Family Campground is a massive campground that’s nestled in the Berkshires foothills. It covers an area of 85 acres, which is about the size of a small town.

This one-of-a-kind campground was established in 1969. On the property, you’ll find two islands that were formed by the Walker Brook as well as a former railroad. The islands are connected by two covered bridges.

Open May 1st through Columbus Day weekend in October, Walker Island offers 90 sites. Whether you have a tent, camper, or RV, there’s a site here for you.

Those who stay at Walker island can enjoy plenty of amenities that will ensure a memorable stay. There’s a pool, a recreation hall, a playground, a store, horseshoes, laundry, wi-fi, and more.
