It’s a tough question to answer, with so many different gorgeous landscapes where you can pitch your tent and sleep under the stars. Here in the Old Dominion, we’ve got mountaintop campsites, “glampgrounds,” and unique lodging where you can reconnect with nature in an unforgettable way. In fact, there’s even a man-made sandy beach where you can set up a towel or umbrella and feel just as relaxed as you would on the coast. Plus, you get mountain views to enjoy!

The campground is divided into three loops: Meadow Loop, which is appropriate for larger sites and RVs, White Oak Loop for non-electric sites, and River Bend Loop for first come, first served campers (i.e. those without reservations).
