The historic venue, which was declared a national monument in 2013, is adjacent to the Washington State Cattle Point Natural Resources Conservation Area. The Cattle Point Lighthouse is situated along the Strait of Juan de Fuca, a body of water that is a total of 96 miles in length. The strait serves as the Salish Sea’s outlet into the Pacific Ocean.
