In fact, it was named the most famous restaurant in Utah. Not only has this restaurant been around for more than 90 years, but it also serves really good food. Ruth’s Diner is one Utah restaurant that deserves to be on everyone’s bucket list.

Ruth’s Diner is the second-oldest restaurant in Utah. It originally opened its doors in 1930 in downtown Salt Lake City by Ruth herself.
Ruth’s Diner/Facebook However, many years later, the building was sold and demolished. So, Ruth bought a Salt Lake Trolley car and moved the restaurant to Emigration Canyon.
Today, this restaurant is the perfect place for both a good meal and a good time. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served at this restaurant and the bar opens each day at 10 a.m.

Many visitors come to Ruth’s Diner in Utah to try one of the tasty breakfast dishes. The menu features everything from French toast and pancakes to biscuits and gravy and eggs cooked in various ways.

For lunch, there are more than two dozen options including hamburgers, sandwiches, and salads. There are also many favorite dishes as well like pulled pork tacos, teriyaki chicken, and Grandma Claire’s Baked Mac and Cheese.

Beginning at 4 p.m., you can order dinner. This menu is quite long and features everything from pot roast to chicken fried steak. Although, you can always enjoy a hamburger, sandwich, or salad if you desire.

No matter what you order, you can enjoy your meal inside this trolley-car restaurant or outside on the patio. On select evenings, you can even sit back and listen to live music on the patio.
