The society formed more than 50 years ago, and its members are interested in various mechanical devices, including trains.

In Jackson, the society’s train park covers 6.5 acres and includes little trains that run on almost a mile of track. The trains are exact replicas of real working trains but much smaller: they are just 1/8 scale.

The train park brings out the kid in visitors of all ages, and it’s a big draw for families through the warmer months. But in the fall, a special and spooky event takes place.

Every fall, the park is decorated with pumpkins and spooky displays – hop aboard one of the park’s Pumpkin Trains and ride through this wonderful season.
