During the winter months, Priest Lake is quiet with only a few hundred residents. However, when the weather begins to warm up, thousands of people flood the area, wanting to enjoy the beauty, beaches, and water in this part of the state.

Plus, this lake is large, giving you plenty of space to spread out and enjoy some quiet. Priest Lake contains approximately 80 miles of shoreline and 23,000 surface acres.

Also, in Priest Lake State Park, you’ll find a perfectly-formed natural waterslide. There is a bit of a hike to reach this natural waterslide in Idaho, but this is one of the best ways to spend a warm summer day in the area.
