Since 1947, this little deli and grocery store has been a core part of Topeka’s community, serving not only fresh sandwiches but the best darn hot pickles around.

Today, more than seven decades later, you can still get homemade sandwiches, hot pickles, and chili every year. Even though the original owners aren’t with us, they’ve set up a legacy that’s lasted a lifetime.

Porubsky’s is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays.
