The Washington & Greene Counties Covered Bridge Festival celebrates the enchanting presence of the area’s covered bridges and the magic of fall in one epic festival that’s set for September 17-18, 2022.

While the festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days, you won’t be stuck to one site all day. The festival features 10 sites – all covered bridges that hearken back to yesteryear.

The annual festival, held on the third weekend of September, takes place regardless of the weather. Visit a few sites, or plan to check out each of the covered bridges for the most epic of adventures.

Each site features an assortment of activities as well as vendors selling crafts and homemade foods and goodies.

Participating covered bridges, including Brownlee Covered Bridge and White Bridge, all have their own schedule of events and activities, which may include craft demonstrations, history reenactments, and family-friendly entertainment.
