That’s because this Conoco station has been transformed into one of the cutest, dreamiest vacation rentals in the state. Owners Phil and Marsha bought the building in 2016 and spent three years restoring and updating it.

The rental officially opened for the 2019 vacation season, and it’s become a favorite among Nebraska travelers.

The color scheme and decor are straight out of the ’50s. Don’t worry about leaving the modern world behind completely, though - the Philing Station is equipped with a smart TV and free wifi.

The walls are adorned with vintage signs, license plates, and other car-related memorabilia tying together the whole vintage filling station theme.

A maximum of four people are allowed to stay at the Philing Station. A queen bed, two twin beds, and a futon will accommodate you and your traveling companions.

The adorable little kitchenette is outfitted with all of the expected kitchen appliances, and the cupboards are stocked with basic cookware, dishes, and silverware.
