Here in Ohio, we have our fair share of all things eerie, ghostly, and just straight-up creepy. The following are what we think are the most haunted places in Ohio. Don’t be afraid to visit, though, because experiencing a haunting is just about one of the most exciting things you can do here in the Buckeye State! Don’t get us wrong … it’s not that these small towns have nothing to offer. They are just exactly what small towns are supposed to be — quiet, peaceful communities far from the hustle and bustle of Utah’s bigger towns and cities. They’re the kind of place where you know your neighbor, where your kids can play safely in the yard and the entire town shows up for the community breakfast or Fourth of July parade....

New Mexico is full of haunted and mysterious locations, particularly around Cimmaron, in northeast New Mexico. Cimmaron is known for its connection to the wild (and bawdy) West, not to mention ghosts. They hang out and taunt guests at the St. James Hotel, where at least 20 people met a violent “old western” end. While St. James has a sinister past, it’s the picturesque Urraca Mesa at Philmont Scout Ranch, just outside of Cimmaron, that wins the award for the creepiest place....

Most Montanans are natural history buffs. After all, our historic sites can be spotted all over the state, and many of them have been well-preserved, with well-documented stories. Marcus Daly was an Irish immigrant who became one of Montana’s most prominent businessmen, eventually having the Daly Mansion built in Hamilton. Marcus Daly also owned the Bitter Root Stock Farm.
