There is plenty of green space here and tons of trees. You can sit back and enjoy the shade while laying on the grass — it’s a great place to think, reflect, and mourn.

This cemetery is quite large with some gravesites dating back as far as 1859. On the southeastern side of the property, you will find a handful of pioneer graves — many are left unmarked, but are still just as peaceful and beautiful as other areas of the cemetery.

It is believed that an old man haunts the cemetery. Many people report seeing him walk around the cemetery, even in broad daylight. Once you approach him, he quickly disappears.
