In just 2.6 miles, you’ll explore salt marshes and a stunning maritime forest, eventually ending up at the iconic Rehoboth Beach. There is also a boardwalk from which you can admire the breathtaking dunes and wetlands! Where can I find easy hikes in Delaware? When it comes to easy hikes in Delaware, there are lots of trails that offer incredible scenery in just a few miles or less. If you’re looking to revel in the beauty of the First State without breaking a sweat, you really can’t beat White Clay Creek State Park in Newark. This lovely park has several short and sweet trails suitable for most ages and skill levels, including the 3.9-mile Twin Valley Trail. It’s a birdwatcher’s paradise, and more of a leisurely stroll than a hike. Are there any kid-friendly hikes around Delaware?
