There are now over 100 craft breweries here in Montana, many of which have tempting taprooms for you to come to taste their brews. And while there are quite a few breweries in the Treasure State that have a lot to offer (tasty food, live music, and other events), there aren’t many that have locations by the water.
Tamarack Brewing has two locations, one in Missoula and one in Lakeside. Not only is the Lakeside location mere steps from Flathead Lake, but it also sits right on the bank of a rushing creek.
You’ll find Tamarack Brewing Company on Blacktail Road in Lakeside, nestled at the base of Blacktail Mountain near the shores of Flathead Lake.

It all started in 2007, when this family-owned brewery first opened its doors.
