When people initially think about Florida, especially those unfamiliar with the state, they probably picture the bigger cities like Jacksonville, Tampa, Miami, and the like. But anyone who knows real Florida knows that the smaller cities and towns really offer up a uniquely rewarding experience. For instance, New Smyrna Beach, Florida is a small city in Volusia County that is known for its coastal beauty and tons of charm. Plus, this delightful gem also happens to be one of the most walkable places in the state.
