In fact, there is one humble, delightful family restaurant in Boise, Idaho that has been around for decades and still doesn’t have its own website. Merritt’s Family Restaurant is one of the best and oldest restaurants in the Treasure Valley. It definitely doesn’t look like much, but it offers a meal like no other.

The Merritt’s Family Restaurant opened its doors in the 1970s. It specializes in homestyle cooking and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner - and each meal is divine.

When you pull up to this Boise restaurant, you’ll notice it’s quite unassuming and old-fashioned. Even the inside is simple and certainly not flashy. It may remind you of visiting your grandma’s house.
