Fall will be gone before you know it, and now is the perfect time to take a trip to an Indiana farm. With two locations in the state, Lark Ranch is home to the most unique miniature train rides in IN you’ve ever seen.

Climb aboard this one-of-a-kind, one-mile ride that will show you much of our state’s excellent fall foliage. Scroll on to learn more about one of the best train trips in IN.

Lark Ranch has two locations in Central and Southern Indiana that have been the state’s premier fall attractions since 2001. Locally owned and operated by a Hoosier native, the farms are a passion project that aim to bring people closer to farm life.

There are more pumpkin and corn-themed activities to enjoy here than anywhere else. The most unique and exciting attraction, though, is the train. Guests can take these one-mile miniature train rides around the park for the best views of the farm.

Seating 80 guests, these little engines resemble the freight trains you might see on the actual railroad. The custom made trains are the signature feature of this fall farm that you don’t want to pass up.

Most additional attractions can be found at both locations. Guests have the opportunity to enjoy a corn maze, a pumpkin patch, barrel rides, a mechanical bull, a giant hay stack, go-karts, a hayride, giant rocking chairs, life-size bird houses, farm animals, and antique tractors.

For the kids, rides and games abound. There is a pumpkin swing, slides, a no-gravity space simulator, a giant jumping pillow, a rock wall, corn cannons, and a ball throw that will keep the young ones entertained all day long.

No fall farm would be complete without some autumn goodies. Guests will find fresh donuts, apple cider, and other delicious treats that make the day even more memorable.

Hours of operation are slightly different at each farm, however both are open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays throughout the month of October.
