Known as the Pineywoods Boardwalk, this meandering path leads through a dense forest with evergreen pines and other beautiful trees such as oak, sweetgum, ash, and dogwood. The landscape is gorgeous year-round, but seeing the ground covered in autumn leaves is an especially lovely sight.

The trail is very well-shaded and has an elevation gain of just 13 feet, making it accessible for most wheelchair users and strollers.

Although the hike is short, it intersects with several other trails in the park, so you can extend your adventure if you’d like. Perhaps you’ll walk out onto the pier over the lake and watch the water for a while!
