…and for the onsite waterfall known as Kilgore Falls. The easiest way to reach the waterfall is to park at the Falling Branch area.

The parking lot fills up quickly, especially during summertime. You MUST reserve a parking pass before your visit if you’ll be heading here on a weekend (or holiday) between Memorial Day and Labor Day.

Once you’re parked and ready to go, you’ll head to the Falling Branch Trail, which is less than a mile to the waterfall.

Kilgore Falls is 17-feet high, making it Maryland’s second highest free-falling waterfall. Not many people know that it was also a filming location of the Disney movie, Tuck Everlasting.
