Other places may be particularly known for one special item that stands above the rest. One spot that’s definitely in that latter category is J. Timothy’s Taverne. This place has many choices: burgers, salads, chicken tenders, soups, sandwiches…but the one that shines above everything else and results in national acclaim for the restaurant is its chicken wings.
J. Timothy’s Taverne is tucked away in Plainville, not far outside of the Connecticut capital. The restaurant is housed in a historic building that was constructed in 1789.
