One of the best family-friendly hikes in Delaware is the Eastern Loop of Brandywine Creek State Park.

Most hikers will complete the loop in less than two hours, but families with younger children may take a bit longer to explore the 5.5-mile trail. There is minimal and gradual elevation gain, totaling just over 350 feet.
