If you’re looking to stroll along a trail that meanders through a forest and offered plenty of vantage points to take in the scenery, head to Doctor’s Creek and Old Forge Trail in New Jersey. This looped trail is about four miles and is based near the town of Cream Ridge.

Once set out on this hike, you can expect to see wildlife, wildflowers, and birdwatch too. As you meander through the trail, you’ll also walk through a forest, pass along the water, and discover breathtaking vantage points that’ll make you appreciate your time in nature.

The overlooks on this trail are a little different than typical hikes. For instance, the views from the bridges on the hike are ideal opportunities to look up and enjoy being in the forest.
