Hike Less Than A Mile To This Spectacular Waterfall In Oklahoma

Northeastern Oklahoma is known for its luscious green landscape and breathtaking beauty in the spring and summer months. One of the best places to enjoy the beauty in this part of the state is at Natural Falls State Park. But, that’s not all you’ll find here. The park is home to a spectacular 77-foot waterfall that is accessible by an easy one-mile hike.

Dripping Springs Trail is the most popular hiking trail in Natural Springs State Park because it leads you straight to the waterfall. It is just under one mile in length, so bring the family along and enjoy this epic hike.

The trail will lead you to views of the top and bottom of the falls. If you want to go to the bottom, you’ll have to walk down about 90 steps and back up again.

There are several other small trails in the park so you can extend your hike if you want to explore more.

The park is open year-round and even when the trees aren’t filled with lush green foliage, it’s still a beautiful hike.

Part of the trail is paved but the other part is natural surfaces. The trail is rated as easy so it’s a great option for all skill levels.

At the bottom of the waterfall is a viewing platform. No swimming is allowed in the falls but you can enjoy a nice cool mist coming off the water.
