Hammond, Indiana, is located in Lake County, and technically, it’s a suburb of Chicago!

It’s one of the oldest cities in Lake County, and despite its age, it’s a vibrant, happening little place with gems all over.

Check out the breathtaking Gibson Woods Nature Preserve and stroll along some of the beautiful hiking trails on the grounds - including easy boardwalks accessible for most.
