Summer is heating up and everyone is looking for ways to stay cool. You can always go to the grocery store and wander around, even when you don’t need any food at home. Or maybe you keep going back to the theaters to see the same blockbuster while you soak in the air conditioning? It’s obviously important to stay out of the heat, but don’t lose sight of the benefits of being out in nature. That’s why this tiered waterfall and swimming hole located in Matthiessen State Park in Illinois should be a must for your to-do list this summer.
Not only is it a great name, the Giant’s Bathtub is a lovely, peaceful sight to see.
