As cliché as it may sound, Forksville General Store in Pennsylvania really does look like it’s stepped from the cover of an old-fashioned greeting card. Surrounded by lush green foliage, which is particularly striking during the fall, the small town general store overlooks an enchanting covered bridge and offers glimpses of the small town it calls home. Few would likely guess that tucked in this historic general store, which dates back more than a century and a half, are some of the very best cheesesteaks and hoagies in Pennsylvania.
