Jumpin’ Jacks Drive-In, Inc. is located on the banks of the Mohawk River right where Scotia begins. It’s right across the river from Schenectady, so people from both cities consider it “theirs,” but it’s definitely on the Scotia side.

This iconic drive-in restaurant first opened in this location in 1956. Initially, it was called The Charcoal Pit. The original building was replaced in 1959 and that’s still the main building that’s in use today.
