This resort offers lodging, dining, and a good time to anyone who happens to drive past it. Definitely stop by and plan on staying a while!

Featherville, Idaho has a fascinating history. The small village was originally a stage stop and later a mining camp. It’s a small village in the mountains just north of mountain Home. Tucked along the South Fork Boise River, it’s the type of place that few people know about, but is definitely worth seeking out.

Home to just a few active businesses, homes, and cabins, the remote location makes it great for all types of adventure. This place is a haven for everything from off-roading to boating on the nearby Anderson Ranch Reservoir.

If you do decide to seek out this beautiful area, you’ll need to find lodging. The Featherville Resort is the first place you should stop. The resort consists of a saloon, cafe, store, and 10-room motel. Featherville, Idaho lodging options are slim pickings, but this humble resort features everything you could possibly need.

Featherville is peaceful and quiet. If you want a tranquil getaway to the mountains, this place is perfect. At night, the sky is full of more stars than you could possibly imagine. By day, all types of adventure are just a short trip away!

Boasting newly remodeled rooms in a stunning setting, the motel is a great place to rest after a fun-filled day stuffed with outdoor activities. If you have an RV, you can set up camp at one of the resort’s 15 beautiful RV sites.

If you’re looking for something rustic, this lakefront A-frame cabin in Kootenai County is just perfect. Up to four guests can stay in the little cottage, and it’s the perfect spot for disconnecting from technology and getting in touch with nature. If you want something a little unique, this dome Airbnb in southern Idaho is off-grid and features comfortable amenities and a wonderful fire pit. What are great places to camp in Idaho? We’ve got so many great campgrounds in Idaho, especially if you love particularly secluded areas.
