Tucked away near Ogden is one charming small town that not many people know is even there — Eden, Utah. This beautiful town, with a population of just over 800 people, was established in the 1850s. It began as just a single log cabin for summer herdsmen but over the years, it has transformed into a beautiful small town that after just one visit, you’ll quickly fall in love with.
Eden is located up Ogden Canyon and is approximately a one-hour drive from Salt Lake City. It may be a small town, but it certainly has plenty to offer.

Many people come to Eden for its incredible outdoor recreation opportunities. In just a short drive, you can be to three ski resorts: Snowbasin, Powder Mountain, and Nordic Valley.

Eden also lies north of Pineview Reservoir, which is a stunning man-made lake that attracts individuals all year long, but especially in the summer months. Here, you can boat, fish, swim, or just relax on the shore and enjoy the view.
