Festival season has officially arrived, and that means one thing. Our days are about to get a whole lot busier and a lot more fun. We’ve got a ton of fun to pack into a short few months, including a visit to Route 66 Summerfest in Missouri. It’s two days of jam-packed fun, filled with activities and events that you’ll definitely want to add to your to do list for June.

Join other festivalgoers in celebrating the 28th Annual Route 66 Summerfest in Rolla, an epic two-day event that promises fun for the whole family.

Festivities are set for June 3-4, 2022 with the festival kicking off on Friday evening. Join or watch the cruise from St. James to Rolla that will feature motorcycles as well as classic and custom cars.

The cruise starts at 4 p.m. and signals the start of the festival. The food court and arts and crafts booths will also open then.

Friday evening features a Movie Under the Stars, too, a fun event for the whole family.

A weekend of family-friendly fun certainly wouldn’t be complete without activities for the kiddos. Watch as they climb a rock wall or go for a ride on the barrel train.

A variety of kids activities, including pony rides, will also be offered. The little ones can sign up for the kids tricycle and bicycle races on Saturday.

The Miss “Route 66” Scholarship Pageant, a drummers competition, and a cornhole tournament will also take place during Summerfest.

If you love animals, you can’t miss the Crazy Funny Dog Show on Saturday at noon. Maybe your pup wants to join in on the fun?
