Johnson’s Stepping Stone Cafe is located in Downtown Bixby at 4 North Armstrong Street. They are open Tuesday - Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. They are not only an affordable cafe but they have raving reviews from patrons. They have over 600 reviews with a 4.8-star rating, not an easy feat to do.

This family-owned diner is usually crowded during peak hours, so plan on a wait. Once you see some of their prices you’ll see why they are so popular.

They serve Southern comfort food and they offer daily specials on top of the normal menu. This chicken fried sandwich is huge and only costs $4.89. Fries or onion rings cost extra but it’s nice having the option not to purchase them.

A plate of chili cheese fries costs a whopping $3.19. And if you want just cheese fries that will cost $2.39. Other restaurants usually charge $10.00 for the same item!

And get this, their famous Chicken Fried Steak dinner only costs $8.49 and comes with a giant portion of steak, choice of soup or salad, fries or mashed potatoes, gravy, vegetable of the day, and a fresh-baked roll.

They also have great burgers that will satisfy any appetite. A regular cheeseburger costs $3.29 and a jumbo burger costs $5.39. We didn’t see anything on the menu that cost more than $9.00!
