While this may look like an arch you would find in the famous Arches National Park in Utah, this is actually Cox Canyon Arch located in Aztec, New Mexico. Aztec can be found in the northwest corner of the state, very close to the Colorado border, and if you find yourself in the area, you just have to stop by for this great hike.
The Cox Canyon Arch trail is very short, clocking in at under 1/2 a mile round trip. This means that you can get to the arch in just about five minutes. However, there is a lot of elevation gain in this short hike, so make sure you are prepared to work!
