The museum was opened in 1991 by Avrum M. Chudnow. But Chudnow didn’t just open the museum; he also used his personal collection of early 20th-century Americana to fill it.

Offering a unique glimpse into the past, the museum’s collection contains over 275,000 items!

As varied as it vast, the collection includes items from the 1910s through the 1940s, with a focus on the 1920s and 1930s.

Described as “extensive and eclectic,” the array of artifacts includes a little bit of everything – from vintage games and toys to clothing and more.

…and a doctor’s office, which is a nod to Dr. Joseph J. Eisenberg, who once owned the building that now houses the museum.

With 3,000 square feet and two floors to explore, you’ll want to give yourself plenty of time when visiting the museum. Typically, visitors spend about 1.5 hours touring the museum.
