Oklahoma doesn’t get enough credit, y’all. This state is beautiful and packed full of cool stuff to see, do, and experience – no matter if you’re from the big city or the smaller towns, if you find yourself here for long enough, you’ll always learn to love it. For example, way too many people are unaware that there are all sorts of fun things to do – like arcades, for example – throughout the Sooner State. Speaking of arcades, let’s take a look at one that’s hidden within Oklahoma City and has been providing endless hours of fun and memories for kids and adults alike for decades. This retro arcade in Oklahoma is waiting to throw you back to your childhood – even if just for one evening.

For more than four decades - since the 1970s - Cactus Jack’s has been the forerunner of epic fun and good times in Oklahoma City.

Rob Huffman/Google Local What began as a small pool hall with just a few pool and foosball tables evolved into an arcade filled with all the classics, like Pac-Man, Asteroids, and Donkey Kong by the 1990s.

The rapidly changing technology of the late 90s into the 2000s was no match for Cactus Jack’s - it was able to smoothly embrace the changing world of video games, arcades, and entertainment beyond its simple roots - and we’re so glad it did!

Ivan Fierro/Google Local Today, you can find an amazing variety of games (and types of games) at Cactus Jack’s like pinball, the aforementioned classic arcade games (and then some), more modern arcade games like Dance Dance Revolution, games where you win prizes and/or tickets, and so much more.

All in all, Cactus Jack’s is a classic arcade in Oklahoma that feels like stepping back in time.

It’s the perfect place to come hang out and catch up with friends, or to come by yourself and blow off some extra steam from work.

Management/TripAdvisor Cactus Jack’s also offers party packages, party rooms, and much more - make sure to check out the official website for all the details (as well as how to book).

Now, we don’t know about you, but the times where we could just kill hours and hours at the arcade might have been some of our best.
