Big Creek Cave Falls One Of Arkansas Coolest Hikes

Big Creek Cave Falls is a seemingly magical trail that can be found outside Vendor, Arkansas, in the eastern part of the Ozark National Forest. At 3.1 miles out and back, this may be a short hike, but it isn’t easy. However, this popular trail is definitely worth it. With a stunning waterfall, Big Creek Cave Falls is the perfect hike for your next outdoor exploration.

This stream winds along the trail and through the cave. If you time your trip right on a foggy day, this beautiful running water will stand out among the fog and black rocky cave walls, giving you an incredible photo opportunity.

The Big Creek Cave Falls trail starts out in a large field. You will walk through the prairie grass as you head towards the trees. Once in the trees, thats where the real fun starts.

As you get closer to your final destination, you can hear the roaring water if you listen closely. While this is super cool, it will also help you double check that you are still on track.
