Every season is a great one for exploring the great outdoors. Between the lakes, the forests, the beaches and the views, there’s no better place to calm the nerves and get back to yourself. Jeff Allen / Google This waterfall is a favorite among ATV-ers. There’s one trail that leads straight to the viewing point. If you prefer to travel by foot, there’s also a fun hike to take you there. It’s fed by the East Branch of the Dead Diamond River and ultimately leads to some gorgeous rapids down the river. Crystal Cascade has a 100-foot drop and roars with noise letting you know it’s around the corner before you’ve even arrived. Of course, if you’d like to see it up close you can walk along a small trail from the parking lot. Either way, the 80-foot cascade is gorgeous no matter what the season. It’s a fun day trip, too. The drop here is 80 feet, making it an impressive sight to see any time of year.
