Autumn is a sublime time of year in Bardstown, Kentucky – not only does it mean crisp temperatures and lots of festive decorations around the town’s walkable square, but the fall foliage in this region of the Bluegrass State is on another level! If you want to get out of town for a bit, the nearby Bernheim Arboretum is STUNNING this time of year or you can hop aboard the My Old Kentucky Dinner Train for a fall foliage ride that is sure to render you speechless. But we saved the best for last: winter. Bardstown is, hands down, the most charming Christmas town in Kentucky. From mid-November through New Year’s, the Christmas ‘Round Bardstown Festival invites guests to come and experience the pure pleasure of the holiday season in Kentucky.
