Avery’s on Tulane is a locally-owned and operated restaurant that’s been around since 2012.

Whitney R./Foursquare Justin and Christy Pitard opened the restaurant four years ago, fulfilling Christy’s long-time dream of owning a restaurant. Named after their daughter, Avery’s on Tulane is a perfectly casual spot to pop in and have one of the best meals of your life.

They’re known for their unique spins on the classic po’boy.

One of their more popular po’boys is the buffalo shrimp po’boy.
