Heads up to everyone in the Tar Heel State (and surrounding states!), there’s a waterpark in North Carolina that features the longest boogie board mat racer slide in the entire Southeast. Carolina Harbor in Charlotte is already the largest waterpark in the state and now it stakes another claim with the addition of this new attraction.

Riders will grab a mat at the bottom of the slide’s many flights of stairs and haul it to the launch platform at the top of the slide.

On the mark everyone will be set to go, six at a time and each in their own slide, to race to the bottom at lightning speed.

Carolina Harbor just added this new attraction in the middle of the summer of 2021 and it has taken the park by storm.

Facebook/Carowinds The journey from the top to the bottom includes both open and closed channels, like this enormous section of the 360-degree closed loop riders whip through near the end of the race.

When all is said and done, though, only one person can win. Will it be you?
