It doesn’t have to be Halloweentime to enjoy a dose of scary fun – particularly if you’re already a fan of the horror genre. While there are loads of seasonal attractions that pop up during the fall months, one up-and-coming “horror town” in Michigan will deliver year-round fright and plenty of excitement for those who want to step off the beaten path. Keep your calendars open for the most wonderfully eerie day trip in Michigan.

The Old West Stagecoach Shop is a now-defunct attraction located off US-12 in the town of Onsted.

There are multiple storefronts on the property, each of which will feature its own unique and spooky flair. HorrorTown, as the site will be called, will house a horror artifact museum, shopping area, and more.

There will even be an open space on site where visitors can watch non-stop vintage horror films. With year-round hours planned, HorrorTown will allow Halloween fans to appreciate the vibes in every season.

Thompson has unveiled a logo with the tagline “Where all souls are welcome.” We don’t know about you, but we think HorrorTown might just become a haven for Michiganders who appreciate the darker side of life.
