We all had a dream as a kid of what we would become as we grew up. We had a sense of wonder when we looked at the stars and thought about what it would be like to travel through the vastness of space. Some of us looked at dinosaur bones and imagined what it would be like to discover the mystery of the past through fossils. Others of us were allured by the pure magic that science produces and wanted to learn how to invent and create like the great scientist we watched. Whatever the draw was we can all pinpoint a sense of imagination and wonder at discovering the world around us. There is a hands-on museum in Union City, Tennessee that plays a role in all of these childhood dreams.
The Discovery Park of America is more than just a hands-on museum, it is an epicenter of fun and learning.

They will change out the different vehicles from time to time so you never know what might be in there when you go. Lining the exhibit you will also find items surrounding the automotive culture.
Stepping outside you can explore the pioneer period with The Settlement.
Bob C/ Tripadvisor This exhibit is built from carefully restored period log cabins and other structures from that time. The Settlement is just like walking back in time to the days when the great expanse of our nation was on everyone’s mind. Exploration is always at the core of who we are as people and walking in the footsteps of those gone before us is a welcomed treat.
