Northern Utah is home to dozens of exciting family-friendly attractions, but none quite compare to this two-part day trip. We are headed to Garden City, home of the mesmerizing Bear Lake. Here, you will spend some time at the lake and then head to an adventure park, where you can enjoy ziplines, a ropes course, and an incredible tubing adventure. It’s going to be a day filled with excitement, thrills, and so much more!

Your day will begin on the shores of Bear Lake. Wear your swimsuit, pack the sunscreen, and prepare for an exciting day outdoors.

While there are many beaches you can visit at Bear Lake, one of the most popular is Rendezvous Beach, located on the southern tip of this large body of water. This is a sandy beach, perfect for building sandcastles, catching the sun’s rays, and relaxing.

If you want to get into the water, bring your boat or other water equipment. You can also find rental companies at Rendezvous Beach, offering everything you need for a lake adventure.

Kristen Buhler/Google You can rent all types of boats including non-motorized equipment such as kayaks and stand-up paddleboards from these companies. For something a little more unique that you can enjoy as a family, consider renting a water trampoline.

Be aware that Rendezvous Beach can become quite busy during the summer months, especially on the weekend. We recommend you arrive early in the day to ensure you get a prime spot right next to the water.

After a morning spent near and on the water, it’s time to visit Bridgerland Adventure Park. Just a short drive from the beach, this adventure park has something the entire family will enjoy from a ropes course and zipline to bouncy houses and playgrounds.
